1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using house hunting, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Services Provided

house hunting provides a platform for landlords to advertise vacant rental properties and for tenants to discover and unlock contact details for a fee. We do not own or manage any property listed.

3. Landlord Responsibilities

• Ensure all listing information is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Only list properties you have legal authority to rent.
• Comply with all applicable Kenyan laws, including the Landlord and Tenant Act.
• Do not post discriminatory or misleading content.

4. Tenant Responsibilities

• Use unlocked contact information solely for rental inquiry purposes.
• Do not share or resell unlocked contact details.
• Conduct your own due diligence before entering any lease agreement.

5. Payments and Refunds

The Ksh 100 unlock fee is non‑refundable once the contact details have been revealed. In case of technical failure, please contact support with your M‑Pesa transaction code for assistance.

6. Subscription Plans

Landlord subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled. You may downgrade to the free plan at any time, but no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

7. Limitation of Liability

house hunting is not a party to any rental agreement between landlords and tenants. We are not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from the use of our platform.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
